In their own words

  • I'm so excited with what I've learned to do. It was very practical, it was very easy to understand. I've got seven different businesses that I run, and this will make it so much easier.

I've created a bot and I named it Henrietta. I tell Henrietta what I want to do, and she comes back having written a whole bunch of tasks for me and how to do them. It's mind-blowing.

My brain works in a weird way, and Lailei is very visual and I'm very visual. It's all about pictures and I'm visualising everything, and this is the way I like to learn. So, this has been an ideal opportunity for me.

  • I'm a Work Health and Safety Consultant. What I found so interesting, and actually quite vital, is that it wasn't just diving in. It was about finding out about my business, how I do things, and that context goes into the process.

I go onto a site, do an inspection, then come back and write a report. Processing those reports could be five or six hours. By training my AI to do it exactly how I like it, it was under an hour that I could produce that report.

There were times where it was very frustrating, but with the help of the WSTI team I could sort that out. Now I have a fully functional reporting process that gives me more time to build my business.

  • WSTI's one-day AI session was one of the most practical training days we've done. Instead of working on our own business, we used a practice business to learn on. That was actually a real strength.

Lailei, who ran the session, was fantastic. He was calm, patient, and endlessly helpful, and made the whole day feel approachable rather than overwhelming. No question was too small, and he took the time to make sure everyone understood before moving on.

We came away with a clear, hands-on understanding of how AI can work for us, and the confidence to put it into practice. I'd recommend WSTI's session to any business wanting a genuine, supportive introduction to AI.

  • We have attended a number of your AI sessions, and every time we come away having learned something genuinely useful that we can apply to our business. The combination of technical expertise, practical guidance, and community spirit is something we have not found anywhere else.

What stands out most to us is WSTI's commitment to ensuring that small businesses, community organisations, and people who might otherwise be left behind by the rapid pace of technological change have access to knowledge, support, and opportunities. That mission is incredibly important, and it is something we deeply admire.

  • You can read all the theoretical think-pieces you want about AI, but nothing beats seeing it applied in the wild.

I spent last Saturday afternoon at Western Sydney Tech Innovators' "Automate Your Business Operations" workshop. Getting hands-on with Claude's CoWork platform was brilliant, but the real gold was hearing how business owners, corporate leaders and other consultants are actually deploying this technology to solve real problems. It completely cuts through the online echo chamber, proving to me the real value that lies in architecting agents, sub-agents and custom skills directly into your operational business processes.

  • Last Saturday, I attended the “Automate Your Social Media and Content Creation with AI Agents” workshop hosted by Western Sydney Tech Innovators (WSTI).

The session showcased practical ways to use AI agents for content marketing: from exporting context and generating content to publishing social media posts and sending personalised newsletters.

While I'm still early in my AI adoption journey, seeing these real-world applications was both inspiring and motivating. It reinforced the importance of continuous learning as AI continues to transform the way we work.

Ready when you are

Training runs to a schedule; consultations start with a free audit. Pick whichever fits what you are trying to do. If neither obviously does, the audit is the cheaper way to find out.
