May 2026
One day, one prototype. Teams designed interfaces in Google Stitch, built with AI Studio, and demoed what ran by mid-afternoon. No coding background needed, and every attendee left with Google Cloud credit and something they had made themselves.
Mar to Apr 2026
Teams worked on real Western Sydney problems in housing, healthcare and community services, then up to eight finalists pitched at a public awards night where the room voted for a $2,000 prize pool.
Feb 2026
A brief competition run over thirty days, where Western Sydney's AI community squared up and set the stage for the hackathon that followed.
Sep 2025
A day-long jam on one craft at a time. Video Jam teams made AI imagery and short film sequences. App Jam teams built a working app with no code at all. Laptops and the paid tools came with the ticket, so nothing stopped anyone turning up and starting.
30 Aug 2025
An afternoon hackathon at Launch Pad, exclusive to Western students and with no coding experience needed. Teams built chatbots and AI-powered tools against real community challenges, and left with something they had made together. Fully booked.
