CoHire
Francis Stalin came to a Project Hub as a visitor and kept coming back. CoHire is his lending platform, where people rent out the camp kit or the power tool they bought once, and it is live with insurance behind it.
He was drawn in by what was happening in the room, then brought the idea back and worked it in the open. Session after session he took the community's feedback and returned with the next version. The features, the build and the fool-proofing were all argued out at Project Hub tables.
CoHire lets people lend the things they bought once and rarely use, and earn from them instead of storing them. It is deployed, it is insured, and he is still pushing it further through collaborations and promotion. He is a regular at the hackathons as well as the hubs.
