Kristy McCarthy
Kristy McCarthy was working on her own to build an innovative app to support people with disabilities but struggled to code it herself because she did not have the skill set. Then she joined one of WSTI's AI Project Hubs and learnt about new AI development methods.
Until then she had not found anywhere that would back the idea and help her bring it to life. At WSTI she found that place. The team and the wider community both got behind what she was building, and their support is what made it possible.
