Tommy Dam began his journey with WSTI as an attendee of the Saturday AI Labs. He was passionate about making it easier for carers to fulfil their reporting requirements. Today CareLogix has been adopted by many aged and disability care operators.

Kristy McCarthy was working on her own to build an innovative app to support people with disabilities but struggled to code it herself because she did not have the skill set. Then she joined one of WSTI's AI Project Hubs and learnt about new AI development methods.

Asha Murphy came to a Saturday AI Lab with a game she could no longer change. Puzzlings supports memory and recall for older people, and the developer who built it was no longer available. She rebuilt it herself and showed it at the community showcase.

Francis Stalin came to a Project Hub as a visitor and kept coming back. CoHire is his lending platform, where people rent out the camp kit or the power tool they bought once, and it is live with insurance behind it.

Munraj Singh picked a problem from the housing crisis and built something that runs. Connie QA automates ITPs, reviews drawings, and verifies site conditions against key standards. Community voting placed it second at the Grand Finale.

Tommy Dam was one of WSTI's first members and built CareLogix slowly, event by event. It turns a support worker's voice notes and photos into the care documentation that would otherwise eat their shift.
